Universal, one of the largest insurance groups in the Caribbean, has become the first-ever title sponsor of the International Table Tennis Federation’s Pan America Cup.
The 2019 Pan America Cup will take place from February 1-3 in Guaynabo City, Puerto Rico.
Universal will lend its name to the event after striking a deal with the ITTF and Puerto Rico Table Tennis Federation (FPRTM).
The 2019 tournament will be the third edition of the Pan America Cup and the biggest yet following its inaugural staging in San Jose, Costa Rica, and last year’s event in Asuncion, Paraguay.
