The Greek Olympic Committee (HOC) has entered into a partnership with Polish sportswear company 4F.
The agreement will see 4F provide Greek athletes with clothing during the upcoming winter Olympic Games in Pyeongchang, South Korea.
The Polish Olympic Committee helped to broker the partnership. The deal will initially cover the upcoming Pyeongchang Olympics, but HOC president Spyros Capralos said that the organisation would be open to extending the partnership to cover the 2020 summer Games in Tokyo, Japan.
Artur Chwist, a member of the board of directors at 4F, said: “This collaboration is very important to us because we all know that Olympism began in Greece.
“We are already working with six (National) Olympic Committees and we are now pleased to be Greece's partner as it is the first country to enter the Olympic stadium and so our products will be seen all over the world.
“We started our cooperation with the Polish Olympic Committee in 2008 and we have already had 10 years of experience. We hope that our cooperation with Greece will continue after Pyeongchang and reach the Tokyo Olympic Games.”
