Financial trading services provider FX World has signed a new sponsorship deal with Matchroom Boxing, a promoter of high-profile boxing events.
The deal will be activated on March 28 with Matchroom’s event in Sheffield.
The length of the agreement was not disclosed, but the contract will run until at least the end of 2015.
“It's particularly pleasing to attract major support from the financial sector as we look to continue to grow the sport,” Eddie Hearn, the head of Matchroom Boxing, said.
“FX World will be prominent at a number of major events throughout the year starting with our big March 28 show in Sheffield where Kell Brook will make the first defence of his IBF World title. The partnership will give FX World extensive exposure in key territories as well as provide a unique corporate experience for its clients.”
