The Emirates Cricket Board has signed a new partnership with Al Nabooda Insurance Brokers.
The deal runs for the duration of 2018 and names ANIB as an official sponsor of the United Arab Emirates’ men’s, women’s, U19 and U16 national teams.
As part of the agreement, ANIB’s branding will feature on the front of the teams’ shirts. ANIB already serves as the ECB’s official insurance supplier.
ANIB director Sukumar Rajagopal said: “The UAE men’s national team is immensely talented and is moving in the right direction towards reaching the top tier of international cricket in the near future. We are delighted to back them up and to be reliably supporting the well-structured cricketing programmes put in place by the ECB towards identifying deserving talent from grassroot levels.
“The women’s team is showing great promise too and I’d like to take this opportunity to urge parents to whole-heartedly encourage their enthusiastic youngsters to actively pursue the sport. We hope that the ANIB-ECB partnership will be long term and that it will continue to be a meeting place for cricketing talent and opportunity.”
