DB Schenker, the wholly owned logistics subsidiary of German railway company Deutsche Bahn, has signed a four-year extension to its partnership with the International Paralympic Committee.
In a renewal of a tie-up that began with the Athens 2004 Paralympic Games, DB Schenker will provide the IPC with logistics, freight forwarding and customs clearance services for the four year period across the Sochi 2014 and Rio 2016 Paralympic Games.
It will also supply similar services at other key IPC events.
DB Schenker sits alongside German prosthetics company OttoBock and Italian sports equipment manufacturer Liski among the IPC’s official suppliers.
