Online bookmaker Betway has agreed a deal to sponsor the Mzansi Super League T20, a new franchise-based cricket competition in South Africa.
Betway has signed a three-year deal to serve as the Official Betting Partner of the competition, the inaugural edition of which is currently taking place in Johannesburg, Tshwane, Durban, Nelson Mandela Bay, Cape Town and Paarl.
Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed but Betway said a seven-figure deal has been signed.
The deal further strengthens Betway’s cricket sponsorship portfolio, with the company having earlier this year partnered with Cricket West Indies.
