Saudi Professional League football club Al-Ahli has agreed a shirt sponsorship deal with the Saudia airline.
The three-year deal grants Saudia, the national carrier of Saudi Arabia, exposure on the front of the Jeddah-based club’s shirts.
Saudia replaces Qatar Airways as the team’s main sponsor.
Al-Ahli announced the termination of its deal with Qatar Airways in June following the news that Saudi Arabia had cut its diplomatic ties with Qatar. The club said it had taken the decision to meet government guidelines.
Qatar Airways had renewed its partnership with Al-Ahli in May, with the two parties’ three-year deal having been due to run until 2020.
