German sportswear and equipment manufacturer Adidas has extended its partnership with the Uefa Champions League club football competition.
Adidas will continue to serve as the Champions League’s official match ball supplier for the 2018-21 cycle of the competition. Adidas has supplied balls for Europe’s premier club tournament since 2001.
The agreement also covers the official match balls for Uefa’s Super Cup, Youth League and Futsal Champions League for the same three-year period.
The deal has been signed ahead of the final of the 2017-18 Champions League between Liverpool and Real Madrid in Kiev on Saturday.
It marks the seventh partnership announcement for the 2018-21 sponsorship sales process for the Champions League, with Heineken, Nissan, PepsiCo, Mastercard and Gazprom renewing deals and Santander signing on as a new partner.
