The International Tennis Federation global governing body and Adecco have announced a three-year extension to the human resources company’s status as an international sponsor of the Davis Cup men’s and Fed Cup women’s national team competitions.
The new agreement commences with this weekend’s Davis Cup first round ties and runs through 2016.
Adecco, the official HR sponsor of Davis Cup and Fed Cup, has sponsored both competitions since the end of 2010, having previously sponsored the Davis Cup between 2002 and 2007. Adecco will continue to sponsor the on-court speed serve package for both competitions, and the new agreement will also see the return of Adecco-branded player benches.
Adecco chief sales officer Sergio Picarelli said: “By also being the official HR sponsor, we offer our leading recruiting abilities for large-scale international sporting competitions, as we do for other world-class sporting events.”
Adecco is one of three second-tier international sponsors of the Davis Cup alongside Rolex and NH Hotels. The company serves as the only international sponsor of the women’s Fed Cup.
