BT-owned mobile brand EE’s July 2022 ‘Not her Problem: Hope United’ initiative activated its UK home nations football association sponsorships and leveraged spiking women’s football interest around UEFA Women’s Euro 2022 through a player ambassador-fronted, integrated campaign which aimed to tackle online sexist hate against women and encourage men to become part of the solution by raising awareness of the problem and providing tools to tackle online sexist abuse.
