The European Union of Gymnastics has renewed its global partnership with scoring system provider SmartScoring.
SmartScoring will stay on as a global partner of the UEG and provide the scoring system for the organisation’s European Championships later this year.
The company will also continue to support the UEG with a financial contribution.
UEG president Farid Gayibov said: “The partnership with SmartScoring allows us to providing consistency between our events and assist the local organising committee with an expensive but essential part of the competition: the results system.
“A huge advantage of working with SmartScoring in 2017 has been the increased attention to sports presentation, which raises our European Championships to the next level. This is the way we want to go forward.”
