Npower puts new energy into charity not sport

NPOWER IS THE latest brand to announce it is distancing itself from sport and switching strategy to charitable causes when its current sponsorship deals end. The energy utility spends £7m a year to sponsor the Football League in a partnership which has won plaudits for its community-led energy saving approach.
