Supersize McDonald’s goes large with Olympic restaurant

WORLD RECORD breakers at this summer’s Olympics are guaranteed fame and fortune or at least their name in lights for a while, so Frontiers can understand McDonald’s thinking. Its temporary installation of the “golden arches” in Stratford, East London will be the world’s largest McDonald's restaurant for six weeks, after which it will vanish in a cloud of polystyrene and paper packaging.
