Dow Chemical anticipates $100bn from Olympic sponsorship

FOLLOWING IN THE footsteps of GE, Dow Chemical is anticipating a huge boost to its business from Olympic sponsorship. Speaking in Moscow, George Hamilton, Dow Olympics VP said “we anticipate the Olympic Games will drive up to $100bn of infrastructure spending over the next 10 years.” Hamilton is looking particularly towards Sochi 2014 which he hopes will “springboard Dow into the Russian construction market.” - 25/3/2011
