KENTUCKY-BASED pizza chain Papa John’s has extended its partnership with the NFL after agreeing a two-year deal to become the official pizza of the American Football league in Canada, Mexico and the UK.
The partnership, valued by Frontiers at around $1m-$2m, was brokered directly between the two parties and is effective immediately taking in this Sunday’s International Series match at Wembley Stadium between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Chicago Bears.
America’s third largest pizza chain, Papa John’s has a longstanding relationship with the NFL in the US as the official pizza of 14 NFL teams.
