Good news for green brands: despite the recession, green is still good

A NEW CONSUMER survey has found a majority are still concerned about the environment despite the distraction of economic and social priorities. The survey by ICM found that 77 per cent of UK consumers felt that climate change discussions at the Rio Earth Summit were important or the most important agenda items for world leaders. The findings are remarkably consistent and in stark contrast to the views of politicians who have toned down their rhetoric and promises in the face of the need to promote economic growth.
