WHILST NOT losing sight of  the plight of those who have lost their jobs amid the austerity sweeping Europe, from a sponsorship perspective it is good news. Sponsors of sport are typically targeting young male professionals in the ABC1 demographic and they have so far fared rather better than other segments.
