Reasons to be cheerful #3: Value opportunities

AS THE SAYING goes, it’s an ill wind that blows nobody any good so, whilst there are some sports and rights holders that are feeling the chill, there are big opportunities for new companies wanting to get involved with sponsorship. The past six months have seen the WTA Championships lose title sponsor Sony Ericsson only to replace it with two new partners, BNP Paribas and Turkish bank TEB for a reported hike in fee values.
