Yakult extends as Fina major partner

Probiotic dairy products manufacturer Yakult has signed a long-term extension to its partnership with Fina, the world governing body for aquatic sports.

Yakult will continue to serve as a long-term partner of the Fina World Championships and the Fina World Swimming Championships (25m) for the next 10 years, from 2019 to 2028.

Yakult will hold exclusive marketing rights in the non-alcoholic beverages and dairy product category at Fina’s two signature events.

The company will also conduct sponsorship activities, with its logo to feature on the bibs of female athletes, on the swim caps of both male and female athletes and on pool-side branding.

Fina president Julio Maglione said: “Over the years, we have counted on a very fruitful cooperation from Yakult, and they are now part of our World Championships’ identity. Their strong presence in our events is highly appreciated by our athletes, coaches, officials, but also media and all those taking part and promoting our major competitions.”
