Xbox enhances partnership with V8 Supercars

The V8 Supercars motor-racing series has expanded its partnership with the Xbox gaming company ahead of the 2015 Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000 race.

As part of the deal, the race’s hell corner will become known as Xbox Hell Corner, while the victory lane will be renamed Xbox Victory Lane.

The two parties have also announced a ‘Drive to Win’ competition. Fans can win a VIP experience at the Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000 race by completing a lap of the Mount Panorama circuit in the recently released Xbox game Forza Motorsport 6.

Matt Braid, commercial director at V8 Supercars, said: “Bringing the excitement of the online Forza environment to Mount Panorama adds another dynamic element to one of the world’s iconic motor races.”

The 2015 Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000 takes place from October 8-11 at the Mount Panorama circuit in Bathurst, New South Wales.
