Women’s team and Big Bash rights raise value of Vodafone’s CA deal

Cricket Australia signed telco Vodafone as its Test match series naming rights partner at a double-digit percentage uplift on the previous contract.

Where real estate company Domain paid about A$4m (€2.5m/$2.9m) per year until last season, sports industry experts told SportBusiness Sponsorship that Vodafone is now paying between A$4.5m and A$5m per season.
