Australian winery Wolf Blass has agreed a deal to become the official wine of the AFL Aussie rules football league.
Terms of the agreement were not disclosed, but it will commence with the forthcoming 2015 AFL season.
Wolf Blass has existing relationships with AFL clubs Brisbane Lions and Essendon but this is its first league-wide sponsorship.
The AFL has partnered with Treasury Wine Estates over the past three seasons, an association that will now be developed alongside its new ties with Wolf Blass.
Under the deal, Wolf Blass will be made available to purchase on match days at AFL stadiums.
The 2015 AFL Premiership season begins on April 2 with Carlton playing Richmond at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.
