Sailing’s World Match Racing Tour has agreed a three-year apparel partnership with Swedish company Sail Racing International.
The sailing apparel specialist has been appointed as official clothing partner to the WMRT. The Sail Racing team will develop new limited collections in partnership with the WMRT, both technical race gear designed to the requirements of the high-performance M32 catamaran used in the series, as well as official Tour merchandise for fans and shore crew.
Sailing Racing previously partnered with the WMRT from 2010 to 2012 and returns ahead of a new cycle for the series that will see it visit new markets and enter the world of high-performance racing through the introduction of the M32.
Joakim Berne, managing director at Sail Racing International, said: “Being a partner to the Tour in its expansion is of course good timing for us. We are steadily growing internationally but will now extend the reach to sailors and fans at destinations we haven’t before seen.”
Together with the Tour, Sail Racing will develop merchandise collections over the next three years. These collections will soon be available at Sail Racing’s online store and at several events during the season.
