Sports equipment manufacturer Wilson has expanded its partnership with the Australian National Basketball League club competition.
Wilson will continue to provide the NBL’s official game ball for the 2016-17 and 2017-18 seasons, and will also introduce a new range of NBL-licensed basketballs as part of the expanded deal.
The NBL’s official game ball will be available to purchase in Rebel Sports stores from next month, while Amart Sports will also sell a replica edition of the ball in its stores. A host of other NBL team and replica balls are on sale now across a range of stores.
“Today’s announcement is a key milestone in our journey to make the NBL more accessible to our fans,” NBL general manager Jeremy Loeliger said. “Having the NBL Wilson range in more stores across the country is yet another way for us to engage with our fans of all ages.
“Teaming up with Wilson continues to provide us with the opportunity to build a partnership with an iconic worldwide brand that shares our vision for the future of the NBL.”
Wilson first partnered with the NBL ahead of the 2015-16 campaign.
