English golfer Lee Westwood has been dropped by long-time sponsor American multinational courier and logistics company UPS amid his request for a waiver to compete in the Saudi Arabia-backed LIV Golf Invitational Series.

Westwood was seen wearing the company's signature logo during practice for this week's PGA Championship but it was noticeably absent from his clothing during the first round of the event at Southern Hills Country Club in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
