AFL Aussie rules football team the West Coast Eagles has signed a sponsorship deal with energy company AGL Limited.
The two-year deal will run until 2019 and grants AGL brand exposure on the Eagles’ shorts during games.
AGL will also benefit from digital signage at Domain Stadium, the team’s home ground.
West Coast Eagles chief executive Trevor Nisbett said: “As AGL is poised to enter the West Australian gas market for the first time, we believe the relationship will be beneficial for both parties.
“While AGL will be a new identity in Western Australia, the company itself is 180 years old, which says so much about them. They will support some specific community programs the club is running and we look forward to building the partnership from the ground up.”
