West Brom signs up NetBet for new season

Online sports betting operator NetBet has secured a sponsorship deal with English Premier League football club West Bromwich Albion.

The agreement covers the forthcoming 2015-16 season and establishes NetBet as West Brom’s betting partner.

NetBet will benefit from stadium advertising at West Brom’s Hawthorns stadium on LED boards throughout the season.

Financial terms for the deal, which was brokered by the Sportfive agency, were not disclosed.

Adrian Wright, sales and marketing director of West Bromwich Albion, said: “NetBet are one of the most promising sport business stakeholders in Europe and an increasing force in the UK betting market. NetBet, due to their size in Europe, also presents a strategic opportunity for the club in this zone and we look forward to working with such a creative brand in this sector to the mutual benefit of both of our brands.”

West Brom plays its first game of the Premier League season at home to Manchester City on August 10.
