West Brom appoints Football Manager

English Premier League football club West Bromwich Albion has entered into a partnership with Sports Interactive, makers of the Football Manager computer game series.

The deal becomes effective immediately and will last for the remainder of the 2015-16 season.

As part of the agreement, Football Manager will receive pitch-side branding at West Brom’s home stadium The Hawthorns. The game’s logo will also appear in the backdrop of player and manager interviews.

West Brom is currently running a competition on social media, which gives supporters the chance to win a copy of Football Manager 2016, the latest instalment in the series.

Miles Jacobson, studio director of Sports Interactive, said: “We chose to partner with West Bromwich Albion because the club represents everything that we like about football; it’s deeply embedded in its community, but still enjoys a global reach.”

Football Manager 2016 went on sale today (Friday).
