Wells Fargo extends commitment to PGA Tour event until 2024

Financial services firm Wells Fargo has secured a five-year agreement with tournament host organisation Champions for Education to extend its title sponsorship of the Wells Fargo Championship PGA Tour golf event through 2024.

Quail Hollow Club, in Charlotte, North Carolina, will continue to host the event.

However, due to a clash with the Presidents Cup at the venue in 2021, the Wells Fargo Championship will move for one year to TPC Potomac at Avenel Farm in Washington DC.

This year’s event begins on Thursday.
