Waratahs Rugby renews Volvo Cars Australia deal

Super Rugby franchise Waratahs Rugby has extended a partnership deal with automotive company Volvo Cars Australia.

The renewal will run for three seasons, from 2016 to 2018.

Under the deal, Volvo Cars Australia will become the naming rights sponsor of the NSW Waratahs high performance centre, the official sponsor of the NSW Waratahs head coach, and the official vehicle partner of the franchise.

The two parties first linked up in 2012.

“We have been long-time supporters of the code in Australia, and to continue our partnership with the strongest rugby franchise in the country is so important to us,” Kevin McCann, managing director of Volvo Cars Australia, said.
