Australian Super Rugby franchise the NSW Waratahs has agreed a partnership deal with air conditioning company Daikin Australia.
Daikin will become the rugby union club’s principal partner under a three-year agreement, from 2016 to 2018.
The Daikin brand will appear on the front of the Waratahs’ jerseys.
“We’re excited to be entering a strategic partnership with a global market leader in Daikin,” Waratahs chief executive Greg Harris said. “There is a very strong alignment between the two organisations, with Daikin’s focus on innovation and quality and desire to sustain market leadership.
“We’re looking forward to introducing business opportunities for Daikin and their dealerships across Australia and New Zealand over the next three years.”
