VFF secures marketing partners Next Media as AFF U-18 Cup title sponsors

Vietnamese sports and digital media company Next Media has sealed a deal with the Vietnamese football federation to become the Asean Football Federation under-19 youth championships title sponsor. They are also currently the official marketing partners securing both sponsors and media buyers for the event.

Nguyen Trung Kien, Next Media’s chief executive officer, said on Tuesday: “With the desire to bring the tournament to a large number of fans, Next Media will coordinate with Binh Duong Television and Ho Chi Minh City Radio and Television Station to produce and broadcast the entire tournament directly.”

Next Media told Sportbusiness Asia that current sponsors for the AFF U-19 championships include Vietnamese state-owned real estate developer Becamax, hotel chain company Muong Thanh Hospitality, and beverage distributors Suntory PepsiCo.

They have also secured the following broadcasters for the competition’s broadcast rights: Astro for Malaysia and Brunei; Canal Plus for Myanmar; Emtek for Indonesia; ETO in Timor Leste, Line TV in Thailand, and Hangemas in Cambodia.

The AFF U-18 championship is scheduled to take place in Ho Chi Minh City and Bình Duong from August 6.
