Veltins upgrades Wolfsburg partnership

German brewery Veltins has extended its partnership with the country’s Bundesliga football club VfL Wolfsburg.

The new agreement, financial terms of which were not disclosed, will cover the 2016-17 to 2018-19 Bundesliga seasons.

Veltins, which had previously served as a premium partner, will become a top partner of the club. The partnership also incorporates Wolfsburg’s women’s team.

As part of the deal, Veltins will receive brand exposure through advertising boards at Wolfsburg’s Volkswagen Arena, and at the AOK Stadium, the home of the club’s women’s and youth teams. The company will also retain naming rights to the Veltins Kronkorkenschieβen half-time activation and the Veltins Stammtisch Club 45 hospitality area.

The two parties first teamed up during the 2013-14 season.
