Veltins pours Four Hills extension

German brewery Veltins has agreed a two-year extension to its sponsorship agreement with the Vierschanzentournee, a showpiece ski-jumping series that is also known as the Four Hills Tournament.

Veltins will continue as a top-tier sponsor of the Vierschanzentournee for the 2015-16 and 2016-17 events. As part of the agreement, the brewery will receive extensive advertising during the tournament’s four rounds.

Audi, Bauhaus, Generali and Intersport also serve as top-tier partners of the Vierschanzentournee.

Veltins marketing director Herbert Sollich said: “With the Nordic disciplines and the Four Hills Tournament as a highlight, we focus on popular (winter sport) events. The response from the last winter season confirmed that we would continue with our concept this season.”

The Vierschanzentournee takes place annually in Austria and Germany. The 2015-16 edition will run from December 28 through to January 6, with the four events set to take place in Oberstdorf, Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Innsbruck and Bischofshofen.
