Home appliance manufacturer Usha International has extended its sponsorship deal with Indian Premier League Twenty20 cricket franchise the Mumbai Indians.
The renewed agreement will run for two more seasons, from 2015 to 2016.
Under the deal, Usha’s logo will adorn the team’s helmets and caps.
Usha originally linked up with the Indians for the 2014 campaign. Before then, it was a partner of the IPL’s Chennai Super Kings.
“We were looking to strengthen our presence in western India and this gives us that opportunity,” Komal Mehra, the head of Usha’s international events division, told the Economic Times newspaper.
