US Open signs up IHG as hotel partner

IHG Hotels & Resorts has entered into a partnership with the United States Tennis Association (USTA) to sponsor the US Open grand slam tournament.

Under the multi-year deal, IHG will become the Official Hotel and Hotel Loyalty Partner of the US Open.

The agreement also includes sponsorship of the Western & Southern Open event in Cincinnati, which forms part of the US Open Series.

The partnership will provide IHG with the opportunity to create on-site experiences for its guests and Rewards Club members.

The deal begins with this year’s US Open, which runs from August 26 to September 8 in New York.
