Taiwanese tyre manufacturer Federal Corporation has been confirmed as the latest company to sign a sponsorship deal with Manchester United, after it agreed a three-year partnership with the English Premier League football club.
Federal will serve as the club’s official tyre partner in Russia and Taiwan under the terms of the deal.
The firm is planning expansion into new territories over the coming years and will use the partnership with United to assist this growth.
Richard Arnold, Manchester United’s group managing director, said: “The club has almost 18 million followers in Russia and with a third of Taiwanese football fans following United, we are able to provide Federal with a sizeable audience to engage with.”
Federal is the second tyre manufacturer to have agreed a sponsorship deal with the club in the space of a week, with Apollo Tyres also having signed up as United’s official tyre partner in the UK and India.
