United Airlines, Citrix sign up for new 49ers stadium

United Airlines and Citrix, a mobile services company, have secured deals with the Santa Clara Stadium Authority and the San Francisco 49ers to become commercial partners of the NFL American football franchise’s new stadium.

Both deals will run for 10 years, from 2014-15 to 2023-24.

Fashion company Levi Strauss acquired the naming rights for the stadium, which will be called Levi’s Stadium and will open this month ahead of the start of the new NFL season in September.

The Citrix deal includes branding rights for the Owners Club level of suites and the use of the company’s mobile technology in parts of the stadium.

United Airlines has become the exclusive domestic and international commercial airline partner of the San Francisco 49ers and Levi’s Stadium. The airline will also receive branding exposure on permanent and digital signage around the stadium.
