Chinese financial services provider UnionPay has agreed a deal to sponsor the Singapore leg of the 2018 International Champions Cup pre-season football tournament.
UnionPay will serve as a premium sponsor of the event.
The firm will offer exclusive privileges to cardholders during the tournament, giving them special access to event coverage and other initiatives.
Organisers are yet to announce full details of the teams and venues that will feature at the tournament this year, but it has been confirmed that Singapore’s National Stadium will again host a number of matches.
During the 2017 edition, Singapore’s National Stadium staged matches featuring English Premier League club Chelsea, German Bundesliga side Bayern Munich and Italian Serie A team Inter Milan.
