Under Armour sets first with Canadian Olympic Committee deal

US sportswear manufacturer Under Armour has partnered with the Canadian Olympic Committee in a move that marks its first sponsorship deal with a national Olympic governing body.

Under Armour will serve as the official high performance footwear supplier of Team Canada for the next eight years.

The company will also release a limited number of its red winter boots and training shoes featuring the Team Canada mark. The footwear will be available for purchase in the lead-up to the 2018 winter Olympic Games in Pyeongchang, Korea.

Team Canada will be provided with Under Armour’s Govie Boot, Phantom CT running shoe and Ultimate Speed training shoe as part of the agreement.
