US sportswear manufacturer Under Armour has agreed a multi-year partnership with Dutch Eredivisie football club AZ Alkmaar.
From July this year, Under Armour will produce match kit, training wear and associated apparel for AZ’s first team and academy sides.
AZ will integrate Under Armour’s UA Record connected fitness platform into their training, while both parties will collaborate on grassroots football projects. AZ’s new Performance Center in Zaandam is located close to Under Armour’s European headquarters.
Under Armour’s AZ kits will retail through the club’s official outlets and UnderArmour.nl.
AZ Alkmaar joins Tottenham Hotspur of the English Premier League, Colo-Colo of the Chilean Primera Division and Liga MX duo Cruz Azul and Toluca on Under Armour’s football roster.
