UFC keeps grip on Toyo Tires partnership

Mixed martial arts series the Ultimate Fighting Championship has announced a two-year extension to its sponsorship deal with the US arm of Japanese tyre manufacturer Toyo Tires.

The renewed terms will take the duo’s association to eight years and the new contract runs through 2015. Toyo Tires is set to benefit from increased branding across the UFC’s platforms including branding inside the fight octagon for events during the new season of the Ultimate Fighter Nations, which will air live on US television channel Fox Sports 1.

Additionally, the Toyo Tires logo will continue to be present inside the octagon during selected pay-per-view events on Fox broadcasts outside of the Ultimate Fighter Nations bouts.

UFC will integrate Toyo Tires into its official website – which averages more than 6.7m unique visitors per month worldwide – at the UFC Fan Expo in Las Vegas and at UFC tailgate parties. Toyo Tires will also leverage the partnership through promotions, fighter appearances and fighter sponsorships.
