Uefa’s sponsorship offering for the next Champions League cycle will include one additional top-tier Global Sponsor position and a new secondary 'supplier-style' tier, SportBusiness understands.
The total number of top-tier, global sponsorship positions stands at eight in the current cycle but will increase to nine in the next three-season cycle from 2024-25 to 2026-27. Below this will sit a new, bespoke tier providing a smaller level of inventory. One source described the offering as placing brands “somewhere between a classic supplier and a global sponsor”, while it is also understood sponsors in this tier could be officially termed ‘Innovation Partners’.
