India-based sports clothing and equipment manufacturer TYKA has entered into a partnership with English country championship cricket club Somerset.
The deal will run for at least two seasons, from 2016 to 2017.
Under the agreement, TYKA will provide all training, travel and playing kit to the team and will also manufacture a range of supporter clothing.
Although the deal will mark TYKA’s entrance into the UK market, the company has already established partnerships with a number of professional cricket clubs around the world, including Kings XI Punjab and Sunrisers Hyderabad of the Indian Premier League as well as the United Arab Emirates national team.
