Tuenti nets naming and shirt rights with Liga ACB’s Estudiantes

Madrid-based social media technology company Tuenti has agreed a deal with Estudiantes for its Tuenti Movil platform to become the official team and jersey sponsor of the Spanish Liga ACB basketball club.

Tuenti Movil’s branding will feature on the playing jerseys of the team which will be known as Tuenti Movil Estudiantes under the agreement. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The sponsorship was announced in the break between first and second quarters in Estudiantes’ latest match against Gran Canaria, with Tuenti Movil’s logo unveiled on the court and with the home team changing into their newly branded jerseys.

Gran Canaria won the match 75-63.
