Trio of Premier League clubs keep fresh with Sure

Unilever-owned deodorant brand Sure has agreed sponsorship deals with English Premier League football clubs Chelsea, Everton and Southampton.

Sure will serve as the official care partner of Chelsea for an undisclosed period. The deal also names Chelsea’s Eden Hazard as a Sure ambassador.

Sure products will feature in Chelsea’s changing room on match days at Stamford Bridge, and at the club’s Cobham training ground.

Sure’s deal with Southampton names it as an official partner of the club, with goalkeeper Fraser Forster to serve as a brand ambassador. The length of Southampton’s deal with Sure was not disclosed.

Everton, meanwhile, has signed a three-season deal with Sure, which will serve as the Merseyside club’s official antiperspirant partner until the end of the 2018-19 campaign.

Midfielder Ross Barkley will become a Sure ambassador as part of the deal and will feature prominently in a promotional campaign planned for the second half of the season. Sure will also benefit from a range of partnership assets including stadium advertising, digital content and access to first-team players.

Sure will create regular content relating to the three clubs on its football-dedicated channel on social media platform Twitter through the #NeverMoreSure hashtag. Fans will also gain the opportunity to win tickets to Chelsea, Southampton and Everton home matches.
