Builders’ merchants Travis Perkins have extended their title sponsorship of European Senior Tour golf event the Travis Perkins Masters.
The four-year renewal begins with this year’s tournament – Travis Perkins’ eighth as naming sponsor – and runs through until 2018.
Full financial terms of the deal were not disclosed but the 2015 tournament prize fund increases to £320,000 (€424,000/$481,000), up by £20,000 from 2014.
The Travis Perkins Masters returns to the Duke’s Course at Woburn Golf Club from September 4-6, where former European Ryder Cup captain Colin Montgomerie will attempt to win a third consecutive title.
Travis Perkins previously sponsored the Wentworth Senior Masters on the European Senior Tour from 2002 to 2005.
