Toyota extends as main sponsor of NRL’s Cowboys

Australian NRL rugby league club the North Queensland Cowboys has renewed its long-running partnership with Japanese automotive manufacturer Toyota and the North Queensland Toyota Dealers.

The parties have agreed a new multi-year deal, which will see the team continue to be officially known as the North Queensland Toyota Cowboys. The Cowboys first took on the brand’s name in 2003.

Toyota’s logo will continue to feature on the Cowboys’ shirts as part of the extended agreement.

Sean Hanley, Toyota Australia’s senior divisional manager of sales and marketing, said: “With such initiatives as the Toyota Good for League Raffle – which helps provide much-needed equipment and resources for grassroots rugby league clubs in the region – we can leverage off each other to benefit the wider community.

“Toyota already has a fantastic relationship with the Cowboys Community Foundation – the club’s fundraising arm – and this renewed partnership will only strengthen that connection. We look forward to delivering many more great community programs working in conjunction with the North Queensland Toyota Cowboys.”
