The International Table Tennis Federation and European Table Tennis Union have agreed a deal for large equipment manufacturer Liebherr Group to become the title sponsor of the 2018 ITTF-European Championships.
Liebherr has a long-term affiliation with table tennis, having supported various other major ITTF events.
This year’s edition of the ITTF-European Championships runs from September 18-23 in Alicante, Spain.
ITTF president Thomas Weikert said: “To have Liebherr as title sponsor is fantastic news for world and European table tennis. Liebherr is part of the global table tennis family, and it is a pleasure to continue our long-term partnership.”
