Beijing Competitor Sports Science and Technology (CPT) has been named as title sponsor of the 2017 World Women’s Curling Championship.
The event, which will take place in the Chinese capital of Beijing from March 18-26, will officially be known as the CPT World Women’s Curling Championship.
CPT also sponsored the 2014 World Men’s Championship in Beijing.
The World Curling Federation and Chinese Curling Association in December signed a Memorandum of Understanding which sees the two organisations work together to develop the sport, both in China and across the world, particularly in the build up to Beijing’s staging of the 2022 Olympic and Paralympic winter Games.
